The war of words between world champions Danny Garcia and Terence Crawford is in full throttle. Earlier today, Crawford took to Twitter after taking offense to recent comments made by Garcia's father and trainer, Angel Garcia, regarding his title fight against Viktor Postol being televised on HBO Pay-Per-View. Typically, Angel serves as the outspoken mouthpiece for Team DSG, but Danny himself clapped back at Crawford via his own Twitter account, stating, "You doing what I did 3 years ago. I ain't no little Gamboa or stiff Postol. I end careers check my track record."
That was the first of two posts. After a rebuttal from Crawford, "Swift" followed his previous comments by aiming at Crawford's pay-per-view sales from the fight, stating, "Your fight did 50K buys lol if you want to do real numbers and get defeated. Tell Bob to call Al!" It appears Crawford and Garcia are ready to test if Al Haymon and Bob Arum have truly put their differences aside and are willing to work together. Garcia vs. Crawford at 147 pounds is an intriguing fight that most fans would be more than happy to see.
