Jr. welterweight contender Felix Diaz has added Strength & Conditioning Coach Alex Ariza to his team to help get him ready for his May 20 showdown with undefeated unified jr. welterweight champion Terence Crawford. "Joel [Diaz] and I spoke the other night. I'm looking forward to working with him and I'm looking forward to ramming another loss down Bob's throat," Ariza commented, confirming the news while taking a shot at Crawford's promoter, Bob Arum.
Diaz is due to arrive in Las Vegas tonight [Tuesday], teaming up with Ariza early to begin preparations for what will no doubt be his toughest test to date. "I dropped all of my clients just to focus on Felix. We're going to focus a little bit more on power and speed and I promise Felix is not going to be a walk in the park for Crawford," Ariza explained. "Most people know that the fighters that my team works with always come in ready to rock and roll for a full 12 rounds. I think this is a great fight for us and fans are going to be in for a treat!"
