Earlier today, undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather and WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz held a press conference at the Hudson Theater in New York City to officially announce their September 17th showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. "I'm facing one of the best fighters of all time and that was a dream of mine as a little kid...July 7th, 1985, okay, there's going to be a repitition on September 17th. It was Mr. Roger Mayweather versus Julio Cesar Chavez," remarked Ortiz of the opportunity. "I'm letting you guys know this right now, I'm not going to be moving. No different than the Shane Mosley fight, I'ma bring the pressure, so hopefully we can meet in the middle of the squared circle," Mayweather would comment on the fight.
