FLOYD MAYWEATHER: "I WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SECOND EPISODE OF 24/7"

FLOYD MAYWEATHER:

"I was very unhappy with the second episode of 24/7. HBO needs a new editor. The network does not show the real entertainment," stated undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather, who evidently isn't happy about the direction that HBO is taking with the latest installment of their award-winning series "24/7". According to a series of posts on his official Twitter page, after two episodes, Mayweather is tired of seeing the focus being placed on the struggles that Victor Ortiz had to overcome when he was abandoned by both his mother and his father.

"We are tired of Victor Ortiz story about his struggles. Its Boring now. Blacks go through life struggles all the time and always RISE," he continued in another post. "HBO needs to give the viewers what they deserve because 24/7 is a highly anticipated show and I don't want to disappoint the viewers." Mayweather's comments seem to agree with a number of fans, who have also voiced their opinion via Twitter that "they get it" and have grown tired of the storyline that Ortiz, like many fighters in the past and the present, had to overcome struggles in their life.

"If the Ratings go down for 24/7. Its not my fault. I've done my job. HBO show what they want. What do yall think," he added, expressing concern that if HBO doesn't make a change in the following episodes, it could affect ratings. Considering that the award-winning series was created to help promote pay-per-view bouts, this could ultimately have an impact on buys for the fight. So what do you think? Is Mayweather right? Has HBO run it's course with the "poor Victor Ortiz" storyline? Is it time to change things up? What more would you like to see in the final episodes?
