HBO's award-winning franchise "24/7" returned with episode 3 of "24/7 Mayweather/Ortiz", the all-access reality series following undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather and WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz as they prepare for their September 17 showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Episode 3 focused more on time outside the ring, as both fighters spent time relaxing and enjoying the pleasures of life, but it was not short on quotes from both fighters. "Anyone that's watching already know with Floyd Mayweather, you can say what you want to say, you can talk about his cases, you can talk about him being arrogant, you can talk about him being cocky, you say you do like him, you can say you don't like him, he always comes to win. He always comes to win...I am WBC, that's my name. World's best champion," Mayweather would comment, again making it clear that come September 17, he'll add another notch in the win column. Check out what else Floyd Mayweather had to say in episode 3 of 24/7 Mayweather/Ortiz.
On Victor Ortiz and his backstory...
"I got some shit on my mind. Yeah, I got some shit on my mind. I'm tired of hearing about that motherfuckin' storyline. 'Well, you know, my dad left me. My mom left me.' Man, shit, black parents leave all the time. Every black you know raise theyself, shit. Many, get the fuck out of here you punk. Motherfucker got a man rubbing on him; a man over there massaging him. He said he want a strong, black man to massage him. 'Give me the strongest black man you got to massage me.' What the fuck?"
"De La Hoya a hoe, flat out. He gay and he a hoe. Victor Ortiz a hoe too. He let a man massage him and the other one wearing fishnet. And then he gonna talk about he look at him like a god? Are you fucking serious? Ah man, what the fuck is going on? Tell me what really is going on!"
On his life and career...
"My thought on life is just, I don't worry about what no one says. I just live my life to the fullest because when it's all said and done, I have to be happy."
"My fans come first. Well, I don't want to say they come first because I come first; self-preservation, it's the law of the land, you know? I must put myself first, but my fans play a major part. You got people that pay to see you win, you have people that pay to see you lose. They both are fans because they both are paying."
"Anyone that's watching already know with Floyd Mayweather, you can say what you want to say, you can talk about his cases, you can talk about him being arrogant, you can talk about him being cocky, you say you do like him, you can say you don't like him, he always comes to win. He always comes to win!"
"Everybody's saying that Floyd has problems with southpaws. Everybody that they put in front of me, I beat."
"I am WBC, that's my name. World's best champion!"
"I said before I was going to be the last man standing. I'm still here; still going strong. Anybody else? Who's next?"
