Several weeks ago, Floyd Mayweather and his father had a verbal altercation that played out for the world to see during the premiere episode of HBO's "24/7 Mayweather/Ortiz". Although the two have yet to patch up their relationship, Floyd Mayweather Sr. attended the official weigh-in for Mayweather vs. Ortiz held earlier today. Although his presence has been missing from Team Mayweather throughout the majority of training camp, Big Floyd was spotted on the floor right next to the stage alongside world-class trainer Kevin Cunningham.
After exchanging a few words with Cunningham, Mayweather Sr. focused his attention towards the scales the minute that both fighters walked onto the stage. Still a concerned parent, Mayweather Sr. intently studied Ortiz up and down to size up the competition and determine the type of shape his son's opponent is in. Shortly after that, Mayweather Jr. took to the scales and when all was said and done, Big Floyd looked please with what he saw.
