Bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire proved to be too big and too strong for previously undefeated Omar Narvaez, who seemed to be reluctant to engage after being rocked with a hard shot in the third round. Throught the course of the fight, Narvaez spent more time focusing on defense than mounting any kind of offense, allowing Donaire to outwork him en route to an extremely easy unanimous decision.
