24/7 EPISODE 3 - MARQUEZ:

HBO's award-winning franchise "24/7" returned tonight with episode 2 of "24/7 Pacquiao/Marquez", the all-access reality series following pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao and lightweight king Juan Manuel Marquez as they prepare for their November 12 showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. "With lots of speed, lots of power, and lots of experience...The peaks are aged, but they still turn green very year. Like any Mexican warrior, I'm going to leave blood, sweat and tears in the ring. I'm going to give it my all," Marquez commented, confident that his age will not play a factor in the fight as he promises to leave it all in the ring. Check out what else Juan Manuel Marquez had to say in episode 3 of 24/7 Pacquiao/Marquez.

On fighting for his country...

Mexico is a nation that knows great fighters. It knows boxing, it knows who's good and who's not. I think it's a big responsibility, to have a nation on my back, but it's also an inspiration.

On his training...

Using the weights is to build speed and power at the same time. You punch with the weights and then take them off. It's to focus on the fast-twitch muscles. The work is different, because before we did one, two, three rounds. Now we go by reps. I was used to working out, but it's different now.

The time I trained for Mayweather was good, but this has been better. It's better physically, mentally, and in my recuperation.

I get there (hyperbaric chamber) half-dead, I get there tired, and after about an hour and a half in the hyperbaric chamber, I recover. It's like recharging my batteries. It's something I've done for a long time, it's been four years. It becomes part of your career, part of your life, part of what you do. I can't fight if I haven't use the hyperbaric chamber.

On his relationship with Rafael Rojas...

Mr. Rafael Rojas is the man with whom I began my entire career in boxing. He's the man with whom I began to fight as an amateur. With him, I became a Golden Gloves champion in 1986. Mr. Rojas is a very important person in my career.

Mr. Rojas is a character. EVeryone loves having him in the gym. He gives them tips and he's a man with lots of experience, who passes on to fighters everything that he has learned. Above all, he's a great trainer.

On how he plans on winning...

With lots of speed, lots of power, and lots of experience.

On whether his age will play a factor in the fight...

The peaks are aged, but they still turn green very year. Like any Mexican warrior, I'm going to leave blood, sweat and tears in the ring. I'm going to give it my all.

On the controversy surrounding his strength and conditioning coach...

I'm training like I should be. If they're saying I'm using things I shouldn't, I'm ready to take a test any time they want.
