"We're trying to get...bring some attention to the general public about Pacquiao because he's running scared right now. We're looking for him right now," stated rapper 50 Cent, who took to the microphone at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier today to call out 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao on behalf of his friend, Floyd Mayweather. CES is a major technology-related trade show held every January at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Both 50 Cent and Mayweather were on hand at the SMS Audio booth for an autograph signing and demonstration of the SMS Sync by 50 and the SMS Street by 50 wireless and wired headphones.
"What's the date," 50 Cent would ask Mayweather. "May 5th," Mayweather replied. "May 5th, so if you see somebody who know him, say, 'Why's your man scared? He don't wanna fight May 5th. 50 was talkin' about him at the CES convention.'," 50 Cent continued. Despite the fact that Pacquiao recently had his adviser, Michael Koncz, inform the Philippine press via text message that he was only interested in fighting at the end of May, Floyd continues to let it be known to the public that May 5th is the date and Pacquiao is who he wants.
