BRADLEY SAYS TEAM PACQUIAO ALREADY MAKING EXCUSES FOR WHEN THINGS DON'T GO RIGHT ON JUNE 9TH

"I just think that right now, I think they're making excuses," stated undefeated jr. welterweight champion Timothy Bradley during his appearance on yesterday's broadcast of Friday Night Fights. Bradley was referring to the numerous comments made by Manny Pacquiao, Freddie Roach, and Michael Koncz that he uses his head during fights. The accusations, which were brought up even before the fight was officially signed, have continued throughout the promotion of the event, and the issue of Bradley headbutting remains a hot topic with the media. Bradley, however, is unfazed and simply views their focus on his head as a built-in excuse as to why Pacquiao will be upset on June 9th.

"Styles make fights, you know. I'm a very aggressive fighter, you know. Manny Pacquiao is a very aggressive fighter, and I mean, you can go back and look at, you know, Manny's last fight and you will see that a headbutt clash did occur; it wasn't from me," he explained to host Bernardo Osuna. "They're looking for a way out of this fight, you know, just in case something don't go right in the fight, you know. I think they would say, "Maybe, you know, Manny was worried about the headbutt, so he wasn't willing to exchange, you know, with Bradley in the inside when Bradley was attacking him to the body.' So, I just think that, you know, this is just an excuse."

Despite the attention that his head is receiving, Bradley has no intentions of changing his style or his game plan for the fight. As far as he's concerned, all the talk about headbutting is simply gamesmanship on the part of Team Pacquiao, who he thinks has already begun the mental battle. "They're trying to get into my head. They're trying to get me out of my game plan, but I'm not going to stop, you know, what my plan is and stop what I do in the ring, and that's dominate," he added.
