"I ain't never seen Floyd this sharp, to be honest, tell the truth. I'm not just saying it. I have never seen Floyd as sharp as he is right now. I think this is one of the best training camps he's ever had," stated world-class trainer Roger Mayweather, who talked about what to expect when 24/7 Mayweather vs. Cotto premiers next Saturday, April 14 at 9:45PM ET on HBO. In a recent video released by HBO Sports, Roger, along with undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather, discuss training camp for the upcoming clash with WBA jr. middleweight champion Miguel Cotto while exclusive footage from the Mayweather Boxing club is shown.
"I think I got like five or six sparring partners; some guys big and strong, some short, you know, and tough and that's what we want. We want every guy that we bring to camp, we want the guy to be able to push me and make me work hard. Miguel Cotto, he's solid, but, you know, I could care less what he's doing," Mayweather remarked. "I feel if an opponent has already lost before, losing is in their mind somewhere. The only thing I know is to win, so winning is always on my mind and my camp and my team is feeling good. I can't wait for May 5th. If the fight was today, I would be ready."
