DEONTAY WILDER RIPS BRYANT JENNINGS, AMIR MANSOUR AND EDDIE CHAMBERS OVER COMMENTS ABOUT MALIK SCOTT

"All those guys go, 'Oh, he dived. We don't do that here in Philly. That's disrespect,' and this and this. It was sad to see, man. If you got your man's back all the way when it is time for war, and the battle is not yours and it is claimed by someone else, don't turn your back on him...That was just ridiculous how they turned their backs on my man Malik Scott like that. If you're from Philly, support him. That's cool. I'm fine with that because if he was from Alabama, I would support him 100 percent...They just left him out and started talking about him just because he got defeated by a better guy," stated undefeated knockout artist Deontay Wilder, who had a lot to say about comments made fellow heavyweight contenders Bryant Jennings, Amir Mansour, and Eddie Chambers regarding the performance of Malik Scott. Check out what else he had to say!

DEONTAY WILDER: There have always been talks of me and Bryant Jennings fighting because we are two Americans heavyweights. Some feel that I am the next [champion], which those that feel that I am the next are damn sure right. Those that feel he is the next, they're wrong because I am the next. What really pissed me off at that moment was that, look, I value my friends; if someone is with me and they roll with me, they are my man. I don't use those terms loosely. If I'm rolling with you, I am loyal to you. Whoever rides with me, I am loyal to you and I expect you to be the same. So for them to come from the same place, out of the same gym; you had him, you had all those Philly fighters. Eddie Chambers, even though he didn't say Malik would beat me, he did say it was the fight he was waiting on as far as my opposition level. Deeply in the back of his mind, he was saying without saying that he thought Malik was going to beat me. But then you had Bryant Jennings and you had Amir Mansour and some other Philly guys saying, "Oh, Malik is gonna beat Deontay's ass." Jennings even stated that Malik was gonna beat me because I haven't fought nobody and Malik has all these skills. Even Mansour said, "Oh, he's gonna whoop Deontay's ass," and stuff like that. Then, when I do the unexpected, the time I do the unbelievable, the amazing, everybody turned their backs against him.

Then all those guys go, "Oh, he dived. We don't do that here in Philly. That's disrespect," and this and this. It was sad to see, man. If you got your man's back all the way when it is time for war, and the battle is not yours and it is claimed by someone else, don't turn your back on him! Pick your man up! Dust him off and say, "Next time!" I was the better man at that time. You cannot discourage him because he didn't win. Everybody turned their backs against him like, "Oh, he ain't from Philly; he's from LA. Oh, he ain't from Philly; he's from the UK." It was just ridiculous, man. So I told my bro Malik, "Don't you worry about it, I'm gonna get Bryant Jennings. Don't worry about that. I'm gonna let him feel it." So if he wins against Mike Perez, which has been ordered by the WBC, 'cause I will definitely be the next heavyweight champ of the world, no doubt about it; so if he wins against Mike Perez, which I don't think he is going to win. I think Mike is gonna beat him, but if Jennings does win, he will have to face me. And when he does, "Ooh we-we-we!" Oh my, is that gonna be something! I'm gonna show him what it feels like to be hit by me. I'm the best heavyweight there is right now, especially in America, and I'm going to show him. It is nothing personal. It's just business for me and I can't wait for that moment.

That was just ridiculous how they turned their backs on my man Malik Scott like that. If you're from Philly, support him. That's cool. I'm fine with that because if he was from Alabama, I would support him 100 percent. But the thing about what we do is, we don't support our people and then when they lose, we discredit them and turn our backs on them. We lift our people up. We keep on marching. We keep it moving because we know the battle is not over. We are loyal to all of our brothers here. We are loyal to each other. They just left him out and started talking about him just because he got defeated by a better guy. I am nothing to be played with in this sport. I don't play around with it, period. So why would I be played with?

People got to understand that I take this super serious. When I step in that ring, I don't get scared, I don't get nervous. I don't have butterflies. I be ready! Shit, I hate the ride to the arena because I be so ready to fight. When people haven't seen nothing in their era or their time of day to see the amazing happening, like me knocking out everybody, when people have never seen it before, they try to make up excuses like, "Why is this happening?" I don't want people to make excuses for my success because, like I said before, what God has for me is for me and nobody is gonna be able to take that away from me. I have supernatural power and anybody that steps in the ring with me is gonna feel it and they're gonna see it. So whether you're with me or not, "And new!" That's all I got to say.
