
"You know what Percy, at the end of the year, I may bail out too," stated world-renowned trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. as he talked about retiring along with Oscar De La Hoya at the end of the year. Currently, Mayweather Sr. is training De La Hoya for his May 3rd fight against Steve Forbes.
"If I can't find a fighter to pay me the way I should be paid, why not? I'm not trying to carry buckets and hold pads until I'm in my 60's. You only live once and life is short. I want to travel," he continued. Mayweather would go on to reveal that after the Forbes fight, he'd train Oscar to beat his son not once, but twice, if their happens to be a rubbermatch and after that, he'd be content to walk away from the sport.
