FightHype.com has just been informed that light heavyweight king Bernard Hopkins will be assisting trainer Jack Mosley in the corner of three-division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley for his upcoming May 31st clash with Zab Judah. Hopkins is certainly no stranger to giving advice to Mosley as he can often be seen shouting instructions from his seat to Mosley during several of his fights, including his most recent fight with Miguel Cotto.
The move will put Hopkins much closer to the action, allowing Team Mosley to have a second set of eyes in their corner as well as a master strategist who's known for breaking down his opponents throughout the course of a fight. Hopkins is currently training for his own April 19th showdown with Joe Calzaghe. Afterwards, he'll be joining Team Mosley during the last few weeks of training camp.
