According to Joseph Serna of DailyPilot.com and TMZ.com, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was arrested earlier today in California. Police officials say that Jackson led them on a short chase from the southbound 55 freeway exit onto Newport Boulevard where he hit at least three cars. A Costa Mesa police officer saw Jackson and attempted to pull him over, but Jackson continued, hitting at least one more car before his truck blew a tire. He continued to drive the truck on its rims, before eventually pulling over and giving himself up.
Rampage has been charged with felony hit and run and felony evading arrest. There could be additional charges. No word yet on whether Rampage resisted arrest.
