ANDRE BERTO: What's up people?
damarvelous1: hey,can you share your thoughts on Cotto-Margarito?
ANDRE BERTO: I thought it would go one or two ways. I thought Cotto would outbox him or stand and bang with him and get broken down. I think he tried too hard too fast. Cotto is not a runner. He likes to sit down on his punches and he used a lot of legs and got wore down.
Boxingstill#1: Hey Andre,...thanx for joining us....Ive been following you for a few fights now. You are really entertaining to watch and becoming stronger every fight. I see you have a Mosely/ Mayweather combination type of style.....How do you feel about that statement?....
ANDRE BERTO: It's a huge statement. I looked up to those guys since I was in the amateurs and being compared to 2 Hall of Famers is a great thing.
muaythaifan: Hey Berto, so what's the deal with your next fight? Is it definitely going to be Steve Forbes? Why not take on the #1 contender in Luis Collazo?
ANDRE BERTO: I believe it will be Steve Forbes. I got the call from my team. I think it will be a good fight and he's a tremendous fighter. He just came off a good fight with De La Hoya and I think it will be real good competition for me.
JonnyBlaze: What up Berto??I've seen all your tv fights and am a huge fan..I was wondering if you could let us in on your secret of what kinda drills do you do to get such fast hand speed??
ANDRE BERTO: Laughing. I wear 30oz. boxing gloves while training. I spar in the same gloves and I never stop. I know a lot of fighters have 1 minute breaks in between, but I never stop.

rmacero: Hey, Andre! You looked really strong against Rodriguez. Do you feel like you are ready to face the Cottos and Margaritos of your division?
ANDRE BERTO: Oh yeah, definitely. Like I said, next year is going to be a huge year for me and I just want all of the top welterweights in the division. We want to finish this year off strong.
BigPoppaPump: Just curious, Steve Forbes is a little small to fighting at welterweight. Do you really think he's a good step up in competition to help you prepare for some of the bigger, elite champions like Antonio Margarito or Paul Williams? Wouldn't Luis Collazo be a better fight for you at this point...a TRUE welterweight as opposed to a small guy?
ANDRE BERTO: Luis Collazo is a small opponent also and I think he's coming off of 2 losses. Steve Forbes is about the same as Collazo when it comes to skills, but Forbes is coming off of a huge fight and has never been knocked down or out.
949Nick: Andre, i dont know if anyone already asked you , your brother is an MMA fighter, do you ever train MMA with him, maybe a little jiu jitsu
ANDRE BERTO: Yeah, I grew up training MMA. I never really got into it, the MMA thing, but dont get it twisted. I know how to get my grappling game on also.
jaz: Big fan Dre. Keep doing what you do. Who do like this weekend between Zab and Clottey? Of all the current champions (including the winner of that fight), who would like to start off with to unify?
ANDRE BERTO: I want to give the edge to Zab skill-wise, but if he doesnt come in right, Clottey can get him out of there. I will fight any of those guys to unify.
ANDRE BERTO: It doesnt matter who it is.
MikeManiscalco: Hey Andre, Nice to see a fellow Floridian whoopin ass in the ring. Your 24, your the WBC Champ and your arguably the best young fighter in Boxing today. If you had to choose, who would you fight after you knock out Forbes? ahah
ANDRE BERTO: I would fight any of the top guys. Shane or Margarito. Everything is in the open and I have the title so this gives me the clout to fight any of them. I'm ready!
JonnyBlaze: Do you think boxing or mma is a tougher sport??Who do you give the edge to in a street fight??Since you know both,you're the best person to ask..
ANDRE BERTO: I'm always going to say boxing. MMA can punch and grapple, but boxers got the hands and a quick punch will lay you out before it gets to the ground.
