rayz789: Campbell, i know you were pissed off at Guzman for not making the weight and i don't blame you. I read that you challenges Marquez to fight you. Thats good but i think it be marquez vs diaz. If that fight of campbell vs diaz happens, who would you like to fight next to keep yourself busy? If i have to pick, i'll say barrera since you both are promoted by don king.
NATE CAMPBELL: I really don't care who I fight. I just want to fight the best out there. Whoever ya'll say the best, that's who I'll fight. I was pissed.
Jonnyblaze: Hey Nate.hows it goin??I was wondering what does it feel like to do all that training and not your opp. punk out??What is your opinion about Guzman??Also,what did ya think about the Casamayor loss??
NATE CAMPBELL: Casamayor passed up 610,000 dollars guaranteed for a PPV that didn't do well and they had trouble selling tickets. I came into this camp 156-157 and it let me know where I need to be at. I need to come into camp at 147-148 like I used to. Being a newlywed took a toll on me.
NATE CAMPBELL: My wife was cooking a lot.

NATE CAMPBELL: I'm always willing to fight at home. Florida is home and I don't care about the heavyweights. That's the biggest joke division in the world. Heavyweight is the most mediocre division in boxing

dangibbons: Do you use a strength and conditioning coach to make weight? If not, do you think they're good or bad for boxers?
NATE CAMPBELL: I took a strength and conditioning guy for this camp. I was going to use the guy Guzman had who is top notch. I told him there is a time where your body can't make weight anymore.
damarvelous1: Wassup Nate! Sorry about what happen this past weekend! What are your thoughts on Barack Obama?
NATE CAMPBELL: Stop talking to me about Barack Obama. I don't know nothing about Obama.
NATE CAMPBELL: He was a Senator for only 100 and something days before he became a presidential candidate. I definitely don't want to vote for McCain. He's the devil and Obama is his little brother.
BigPoppaPump: When did you first learn about Guzman pulling out of the fight? What exactly happened? Seeing as how he's back in the gym training, do you think he pulled out because he was afraid to go through with the fight?
NATE CAMPBELL: I don't know what his reasons were for pulling out of the fight. I don't really care, but I will never give him a title shot. He shouldn't be able to fight until 2010 if the commission holds their word.
NATE CAMPBELL: He had chances to rectify the problems with his weight. I was walking into my dressing room when I found out.
justincredible311: I saw you called out Marquez today. Marquez has victories over robbie peden and Casamayor whom he knocked out. You lost to both guys. Marquez is the best combination puncher in the business 2nd to none. What is it that makes you so confident going into this proposed fight that you will be able to handle Marquez's boxing ability and punching accuracy?
NATE CAMPBELL: All of the fights you just named happened at 130. I was more drained than Guzman fighting at 130 and I still fought. Unload the wagon. It's over.
NATE CAMPBELL: They remember everything when a black fighter is on top and forget everything when a Spanish fighter is at the bottom.
NATE CAMPBELL: It ain't good being a black prizefighter these days.

I want to see you fight marquez and get a huge payday . Nate you give real fighters like my fighter Emanuel Augustus hope. Emanuel Augustus will win a world title in 2009 believe it !!
NATE CAMPBELL: Tell Nick I said what's up and to give me a call. I love Augustus because he came up the hard way. Without guys like Augustus, boxing does not go around.
NATE CAMPBELL: I've always liked his style, but when I learned the game, I learned to respect him.
rayz789: Nate, lets say you do fight marquez lets say in around 09, what would u do to beat marquez? his style is way different then diaz style.
NATE CAMPBELL: Quit acting like these guys are gods. He's fought one black dude and he lost to him, Freddie Norwood. He's never fought anybody like me. Quit looking at the Diaz fight and thinking that's the only way I can fight.
NATE CAMPBELL: Manny dropped Marquez more than I've ever been dropped.
Jonnyblaze: Sup again?I was really wondering what kinda stuff do you do in training camp??How do ya get ready for the 12 rounders??Any tips for a amateur would be good!!It's good to know how much ya appreciate Augustus..He is a one of a kind fighter.
NATE CAMPBELL: You can't build another Augustus if you had 100 years. I train really hard. I empty myself out every day in the gym. To be the 12-round fighter the way I am, you have to take yourself to hell. I know mentally and physically what I can take. I became a man in boxing the old fashioned way.
mosleyfan: Do you think it's a good idea for Pacquiao to move up to welterweight to face De La Hoya? If not, would you yourself move up and fight him if the opportunity was presented to you?
NATE CAMPBELL: I don't think I would and I know it's not a good position for him to do it. For $14 million, people would do anything. It ain't good for boxing. It's just good for 4 people. DLH, Manny and the 2 people training them. If the fight goes more than 4 rounds, the fix is in.
NATE CAMPBELL: If it goes the distance, Oscar can burn his legacy and I'll give him the matches!
dangibbons: Realistically, if Golden Boy opts to put Marquez in with Diaz, who do you think you can target next...or better yet, who do you think is more willing to step in the ring with you? Casamayor and Katsidis don't deserve the shot coming off of losses and Pacquiao is moving up to fight De La Hoya. Seems to me like the only logical choice for the division is you and Marquez. Why do you think Golden Boy would be unwilling to make that fight next?
NATE CAMPBELL: They know that I'll win that Ring belt. To keep it the title: in house because as long as it's in house, they can question my relavence. I wouldn't piss on Casamayor if he was on fire.

NATE CAMPBELL: Rebound from what? He wasn't shit to start with. I've been down one time in my career and people question my chin. I dropped my hands. That motherfucker had his thumb in his mouth and in a fetal position.
