"I think the UFC is going to do everything in their power, from what they've said, to make that Fedor fight happen. The ideal situation is that he would be coming out November 15th to fight Fedor, but the UFC wanted Lesnar so Randy was like, 'Fine!' He just wants to fight at this point," stated Kim Couture as she talked about Randy's return to the UFC. Check out what else she had to say as she talks more about Randy, Gina Carano and Xtreme Couture.

PC: It's been a while since we've talked on record. How is the busy world of Kim Couture?

KC: I've been busy, but I've been doing good.

PC: Are you busy with a lot of your fighters?

KC: Yeah, it's a little bit of everything going on around here.

PC: How are you physically? How is your health?

KC: I'm doing fantastic!

PC: Are you back at full training or do you still have to take it easy?

KC: Yep! I'm full-fledged training. I've been training for a while now. I just can't spar yet. That's the only thing I can't do.

PC: Can you clamp down on a mouthpiece yet?

KC: Well, I have to get fitted for a new one because the other one doesn't fit. I haven't been released from the doctor to spar. The jaw is healed, but the actual gum hasn't healed together yet.

PC: Are you training with Gina Carano and if so, how is she looking?

KC: Yes and she looks fantastic. She's had a full training camp and she is looking sharp.

PC: I know you have to wait for clearance, but when would you like to fight again?

KC: Probably December some time. I would like to get another one in before the end of the year.

PC: What do you think of Affliction and Golden Boy Promotions joining forces?

KC: It sounds like it's good for them. I'm curious to see how that works out. I'm just excited to see the show in January now. I was looking forward to the one in October and now I'll be looking forward to seeing it in January.

PC: You have a couple of guys that you manage on that card. Were they a little upset about the new date?

KC: Well, actually, they have a show that was supposed to be at the Thomas and Mack on October 18th, but it's not because of the request of the venue to be moved to the October 11th date. Those fighters, Mike Pyle and Jay Hieron, are fighting on that card on the 11th. It will be another "Night of Combat" like the one that I fought on. It won't be boxing and MMA like the last time though. It will be all MMA. 9 MMA fights!

PC: How do you like the matchup between Tyson Griffin and Sean Sherk?

KC: Oh, I think it's great. I think it's going to be an explosive fight and I think it looks very good for Tyson. I think Sean Sherk's strengths are taking people down and holding them down and Tyson's strength is not being held down. He's good at scrambling and getting out of bad situations and he's just so well-rounded. I think he's going to have this fight in the bag.

PC: There's so many fighters out of Xtreme Couture with fight dates and are training for fights. Tyson, Randy, Jay, Mike and Gina. What is the atmosphere like around the gym right now?

KC: It's pretty intense. You could sell popcorn at these pro practices. It's been amazing being in the room with all of these guys and everyone feeds off of each other's energy. It's been a lot of fun and everyone is looking really sharp.

PC: The big news is Randy is back in the UFC. Who approached who with the idea of Randy returning?

KC: Well, from my understanding, the courts would have had this thing held up for the next 2 to 3 years and we all know Randy is not getting any younger. I don't know who contacted who, but Randy and Dana spoke outside of the whole litigation and decided that neither one of them felt like waiting 2 or 3 years and if they could come to an agreement outside of court, it would work in both of their best interests. I think it was a mutual thing and both sides had to make some compromises, but all seems to be going well now so we'll see what happens.

PC: How pumped are you guys just for the fact that Randy has a fight lined up?

KC: I'm excited. I'm always excited to watch him fight. I'll be looking forward to it. It's nice to have him back full throttle at the gym and have him home all of the time. When he's training for a fight, there is no travel and no distractions so it's good to see him relax and get those 2-a-days in.

PC: Brock is a big boy and a lot of people are favoring him in this fight. Other than experience, what do you think will be the difference in this fight?

KC: I think Randy has been the underdog in every fight he's ever had so he works good from that position; he likes that. It kind of takes the pressure off of him. Obviously, lack of experience, but because he is bigger and heavier...he's not so much taller, but just bigger and heavier, and that unfortunately works against you. The smaller guys are usually faster and quicker on their feet. Randy's experience, again, as we've seen in his last couple of fights, his boxing has come leaps and bounds. I can see Randy just working him over.

PC: Will this open up the doors for Xtreme Couture's brand being back in the UFC or has that not been discussed?

KC: We haven't discussed that yet.

PC: What do you think the reception for Randy will be like on November 15th?

KC: I think everybody is going to be ecstatic. I think the place is going to be electric.

PC: Is this the ideal situation for Randy and is it possible for us to still see the Fedor fight?

KC: I think the UFC is going to do everything in their power, from what they've said, to make that Fedor fight happen. The ideal situation is that he would be coming out November 15th to fight Fedor, but the UFC wanted Lesnar so Randy was like, "Fine!" He just wants to fight at this point.

PC: What else is going on in the Xtreme Couture Empire?

KC: We just got a new suit line. It's going to be showcased in all of the men's warehouses. It's called Xtreme Couture. I'm looking forward to filing for my promoter's license in a few different states and working on putting some promotions on of my own in the future; simply just to build my guys in Xtreme Couture. I mean, we have 7 gyms and a lot of guys coming out that need a platform that are having a hard time getting fights and I need to give them a neutral platform for them to perform and showcase their skills and build their record so someone like the WEC, UFC or Affliction can possibly take a look at them and sign these guys.

PC: It's always a pleasure to speak with you Kim. Good luck in your many endeavors. Is there anything you would like to say to close this interview out?

KC: No, everything sounds good.
