| If you missed the chat session with WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown, check the entire transcript to see what he had to say. "He's definitely got some power and he's tough...He's a well-rounded guy. He's improved a lot over the last couple of years. If I fight him, I'll have to prepare well," he stated as he talked about a possible clash with WEC top featherweight contender Leonard Garcia. Check out what else he had to say about Miguel Torres, Urijah Faber and much more.
MIKE BROWN: He's got good standup and ground game.
thehype: FightHype would like to welcome Mike Brown to tonight's chat session.
MIKE BROWN: How are you guys doing?
THEMOSQUITO: very fine
dtut: Hey Champ. Great win over Faber. Physically, did you feel like you were stronger than him?
MIKE BROWN: I felt srong. We didn't get into a lot of scrambles for me to feel his power, but I felt like the bigger, stronger guy.
gwill: What did you think of Leonard Garcia's win over Pulver?
MIKE BROWN: He looked good. That 2 big knockouts in a row for him. He's definitely got some power and he's tough.
jaz: What do you think are some of Garcia's weaknesses?
MIKE BROWN: I don't know. He's a well-rounded guy. He's improved a lot over the last couple of years. If I fight him, I'll have to prepare well.
MIKE BROWN: He's got good standup and ground game.
grimey: Are you surprised that Faber is going to be fighting Pulver again?
MIKE BROWN: I was a little surprised wth the quick rematch with those guys. The 1st match was an awesome fight and it sold a lot of tickets so I could see why they're doing it over again.
THEMOSQUITO: Now that your champ, do you feel satisfied a bit, afcourse you want to defent but is tthere a different motivation now? if that makes since..
MIKE BROWN: Yeah, a lot of people say you're not the champ until you defend the title. I want to show people I didn't get lucky and I know guys are coming hard because I know how hungry I was so I will have to train hard to defend my belt.
winkster: Would you be willing to fight Miguel Torres? How would that fight play out?
MIKE BROWN: Hell yeah! That will be a great fight. I want to show the level of fighter I am and Miguel is one of the best. It would be an honor to fight him.
dtut: Any chance we might see you move up in weight?
MIKE BROWN: Could. I've fought at 155 before and I will do it again with the right opportunity.
gwill: Who do you consider to be the best P4P fighter?
MIKE BROWN: In my opinion, it's Fedor!
MIKE BROWN: He only has one loss and it was due to a cut. He's pretty much undefeated of all of the champs.
jaz: Did you watch the fights last night? If so, what did you think Cantwell breaking Al-Hussan's arm? Do you think he went a little overboard in his excitement about doing that?
MIKE BROWN: I didnt see it yet. I missed it.
THEMOSQUITO: im tyring to put on weight whats better..eating more but healthy.you know not just anything or being patiente and putting muscle weight on, what would you do?
MIKE BROWN: Lift and eat a lot of protein. Recovery is important. Make sure you're getting a lot of rest to let your muscles heal.
thehype: FightHype would like to thank Mike Brown for taking time out to chat with us tonight.
MIKE BROWN: Thanks and I will chat with you guys again very soon.
MIKE BROWN: Be good FightHype!
