PREFIGHT
Former cruiserweight champion, Tomasz Adamek, comes out first. He looks extremely confident and focused as he enters to the sounds of a very solemn song. Andrew Golota enters next to the sounds of Kanye West. Golota looks soft, but ready for action as he makes his way to the ring with a snarl on his face. The arena is packed and the crowd in attendance erupts during the staredown.
ROUND 1
Both men face off at the center of the ring. Adamek begins to land a quick jab and a nice 1-2 to the body. Golota just covers up and Adamek unleashes a six-punch combo upstairs and downstairs on Golota. Now Golota begins to press forward. Adamek cautiously retreats. Golota drops his hands inviting Adamek in. Nice right hand lands for Adamek, but he eats a heavy left in return from Golota. Adamek is wide with his punches. Golota gets through with a couple of jabs. Nice right hand lands for Golota and Adamek holds on. Nicer 1-2 lands for Adamek. WOOOOOOOO...BIG right hand lands for Adamek followed by a left hook and Golota is down. He's up. He takes the count. He shakes his head to signal that he's okay. Adamek senses blod and jumps on Golota landing a nice combo. Golota eats it and lands a left. Both men getting a little sloppy now. Golota chasing Adamek down. End of round. Round to Adamek.

Both men trade jabs. Adamek lands another nice four-punch combo. The difference in hand speed is evident. Golota's left eye is bleeding badly. Golota pushes Adamek back to the ropes. Jab lands for Golota. Adamek digs a 1-2 to the body and dances away. Quick 1-2 down the middle lands for Adamek. Hard right to the body lands for Adamek. Golota continues to come forward with his hands down, looking to land that one big punch. Right and a left upstairs lands for Adamek. Round to Adamek.

ROUND 3
Adamek continues to control the distance behind his quicker jab. Right to the body and a left upstairs lands for Adamek. Golota lands a left, but he eats a left hook from Adamek in return. Adamek continues to focus on the body, but he gets a warning for a low blow. Golota finding it difficult to land anything clean. More jabs land for Adamek. Now Golota lands a 1-2 upstairs. HARD right hand from Golota has Adamek on the retreat. Golota standing in front of Adamek showboating a little as he slips and ducks some punches with his hands down. Adamek continues to rack up points behind his jab. Right hand lands for Adamek. Round to Adamek.

ROUND 4
Golota grazes Adamek with a left hook. Adamek continues to fire his jab. HARD right hand down the middle lands for Adamek and Golota is rocked. Adamek unloads a flurry of punches on him. Golota survives. Left hook and a right hand lands for Adamek. Golota just covers up. Golota misses with a 1-2. He's just too slow to catch up with the faster Adamek. Jab and a 1-2 lands for Adamek. Adamek doing a good job of mixing his punches up. Short right hand from Golota gets the attention of Adamek. Left hook lands for Golota. Both men looking a little fatigued now. They trade jabs. Round to Adamek.

ROUND 5
Golota closing the distance a little bit now. WOOOOOOOOOOOO....HUGE right hand from Adamek floors Golota. He's up and takes the count. Adamek jumps on him. Another hard 1-2 lands for Adamek. Adamek continues to fire away and land punches. Golota just covers up. Adamek lands another 1-2. Left hook. Right to the body. Right upstairs. Golota looks ready to go. That's it. It's over. The ref has seen enough and calls a halt to the action.
