PC: Man, it's the "Lights Out" show right now my man. What did you think of the Haye-Valuev fight on Saturday?

PC: Haye has come into the division talking a lot of trash. You feel like he's trying to take a page out of your book?
JT: He's trying to take a page out of my book just like everybody else, but they can't follow through with it because they don't have the skill or the talent like I do. Nobody does; nobody! I'm the last old school fighter standing. Everybody try to call Bernard old school, but Bernard is an old fool. You can call him old fool, but you can't call him old school. The reason why I say that is no old school fighter runs in with their head down and hit and hold. That's bullshit. Bernard is a safety first fighter. As far as David Haye, dude is all talk; that's all he is, he aint nothing but a big ol' joke, just like the rest of those British fighters. They all jokes.
PC: It appears he will be fighting his mandatory John Ruiz next and then possibly HolyfieldÂ…
JT: (Cuttin in) My leftovers! He fighting leftovers, done-overs and every other thing. I beat Ruiz with one arm and Evander Holyfield, everybody seen how I crucified him. If it wasn't for my Pops, I would have pulled down my trunks and pissed on his squad. It would be a damn shame for the boxing public to have to see a current champion beat up 2 people that I have already beaten up. I understand him getting his mandatory in, but right after Ruiz, I would tear Haye's ass up.
PC: From what I understand, you could fight Haye at cruiserweight or heavyweight.
JT: I'll fight him at cruiserweight, heavyweight and if Bernard wants to fight, I will come down to 185 for his ass, whoop his ass and then go back up. It don't even matter. Let's sign the contract; it's nothing.
PC: 185? Damn champ. You haven't been there in awhile.
JT: I'm showing these motherfuckers how serious this shit is to me. I would fight Haye in the UK, so I would let him pick the weight class and the venue. How could you turn that down? I would go in there with my American Flag colors on and as soon as I get down, I would piss on the British flag. When he is finished wrestling with Ruiz, he can send Ruiz to fight Holyfield for the 10th time and come get this ass whooping. He can get all he wants here. David Tua and all of those guys are has-beens. This is my 22nd year as a pro. I have 87 pro fights, I ain't never been knocked out and ain't never going to be knocked out; I ain't going nowhere. I'm here. I'm in great shape and all they have to tell me to do is show up and I will take care of the rest.
PC: There aren't too many fighters that can say what you just said. 87 pro fights, 22 years in the game as a pro and never been stopped. That's a mouthful.
JT: They can't say that. They do this shit because they have to. I do it because I love it. I was born to fight. Everybody else was taught to fight. I love going to the gym every day, getting ready for the next victim.
PC: How important is it for you to keep the weight off in between fights just in case Haye or someone else thinks they will catch you slipping and offer you a fight on short notice?
JT: Yeah, everybody wants to say I'm short and fat, but none of them will sign to fight me. If I am short and fat, sign the contract. I will fight them tomorrow night if they want to. Sam Peter didn't want to fight me again. We would have fought for an interim title, but they turned down a 3rd fight. Povetkin's sorry ass didn't want to fight Peter and now Peter don't want to fight me. Arreola's bitch ass don't want to fight me and Tomasz Adamek, who just beat Andrew Golota, didn't want to fight me. They say they don't want to fight, so I'm in a no-win situation. I am the IBA world heavyweight champion and I ain't going to let nobody disrespect my title I don't care what it is because I make the title, the title don't make me. That's just like the Klitschkos. People always think I'm trying to disrespect them, but it's not that. I just don't think they are fighting real fighters. The belts make them. They fight who the belts put in front of them. I want to see them challenge themselves like people want to see Mayweather challenge himself. They are doing something right because they are winning, but let them fight a real throwback fighter and let's see what happens. Kevin Johnson not going to be any different than Tony Thompson. If you want to see what the Vitali-Johnson fight is going to look like, go watch Wladimir's fight with Tony Thompson. That's not disrespecting any of them guys, but they are not throwbacks. Imagine, I'm 5'10" and I want to fight these big 6'7" giants and guaranteeing a win over them. I know I can beat both Klitschko brothers. Let's start seeing them fight real fighters.
PC: If Haye and his team, I believe he is with Golden Boy, is listening, what do you have to say to them JT?
JT: Golden Girls, listen to me! Quit hiding and put the candy down and let the little girl go. Come see me. Haye wouldn't be able to model after I'm done with his ass. Tell them to quit being scared; its time to fight man. None of these guys are real fighters in the heavyweight division. The Klitschkos are doctors and David Haye is a model, so boxing is their second job. Haye is a model until I get my hands on him.
