WBO jr. welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11KOs) retained his title with an impressive unanimous decision victory over challenger Lamont Peterson (27-1, 13KOs) moments ago at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. Both men traded heavy leather throughout the bout, but it was Bradley's speed and movement that controlled the action, frustrating Peterson early and knocking him down in the third round. Peterson, however, would get up and try his best to close the distance, but Bradley did an excellent job of keeping his distance with his footwork while landing combinations from the outside, outworking Peterson en route to the decision.
