thehype: FightHype would like to welcome Fabricio Camoes to tonight's chat session

AbleCable: What are you expecting from Pellegrino when you guys step into the cage?

FABRICIO CAMOES: I saw a couple of his fights and he's pretty much a grappler, but I respect all of my opponents and I go to the UFC to do my best and I'm sure we're going to put on a show for all of the UFC fans.

BigDog: What are your thoughts on the draw you got against Uno? Is that a fight you would want again?

FABRICIO CAMOES: That was...I watched that fight many times and I hit him in the shoulder, not in the head. I don't think it was a draw, but I never complain. I was expecting a better showing in my UFC debut, but Uno has alot of experience. I get to come back against a guy like Pellegrino.

FABRICIO CAMOES: I lost because I had a point deducted; other than that I was winning the fight.

KingKong: Assuming all goes well against Pellegrino, are you anxious to get in line for a shot at the title or do you prefer to just take your time?

FABRICIO CAMOES: Always when you arrive in a tournament, you are looking for a belt. I am just excited to be in the UFC and I just want to keep doing my best, perform for the fans and I'm pretty sure things will happen at the right moment. I gurantee I will look better each time I step into the cage.

Grimey: You've fought for both Strikeforce and the UFC. Do you think there's a major difference between the two orgs?

FABRICIO CAMOES: I looked to come to fight against the best. I fought against the best in Brazil too. I was always looking to fight for the UFC.

FABRICIO CAMOES: I think Strikeforce has a good show with CBS.

FABRICIO CAMOES: I think Strikeforce has great champions, Nick Diaz and guys like that, but the UFC has the best fighters in the world.

Felix: Is there any particular area you focus more on in training

FABRICIO CAMOES: I am focusing more on strength and conditioning right now. I am a Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. I have been training in it since I was 14 years old. I look to make my striking better, but I want to get better in every aspect.

Lipsey: Who do you like in that Serra-Trigg fight?

FABRICIO CAMOES: I trained with Trigg, so give me him!

FABRICIO CAMOES: I think he will beat Serra.

Zonka: Do you hope to be more active in 2010?

FABRICIO CAMOES: For sure I want to do at least 3 or 4 fights. I fought in November, so I started late in the year, but yeah, at least 3 to 4 fights.

Enock: Do you feel obligated to stand and trade with an opponent in order to please the fans?

FABRICIO CAMOES: I'm training hard to do a good show in the UFC and I will do my best in the Octagon on March 27th.

rowdy48: Fabricio, Where would a win against a dominant oppenant like Kurt Pellegrino place you in the sport?

FABRICIO CAMOES: Like I said before, I am happy to be in the UFC and I think all of the fighters are top caliber. I think this fight against Pellegrino will show that I can fight anyone. I want to show everybody that we train hard here and work very hard.

thehype: FightHype would like to thank Fabricio Camoes for taking time out to chat with us tonight

FABRICIO CAMOES: Thank you guys for coming out. I appreciate the support.
