What started out as a high-speed chess match quickly turned into a dominant showcase as WBA jr. welterweight champion used his height and reach advantage to control the distance, outbox and dominate Paulie Malignaggi, stopping him in the 11th round. Khan appeared to have the edge in speed and it was his faster hands that allowed him to get off the better combinations, beating Malignaggi to the punch and outlanding him in each and every exchange.
