"My next fight could be at the end of October for the IBF title," stated lightweight contender Hank Lundy, who's looking to climb his way back to the top as quickly as possible after suffering the first loss of his career earlier this year. After the disappointing 11th round TKO loss to John Molina in July, Lundy quickly dusted himself off and got back to his winning ways in August with a dominant unanimous decision over Omri Lowther, taking virtually every round on each judge's scorecard. Now, he's hoping to capture his first major world title in a potential showdown with current IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez.
"Hammering Hank coming to a city or town near you, so be ready," Lundy stated with confidence. Although he's eager to erase the only blemish on his resume, Lundy doesn't believe that the man who beat him is quite as eager to do it again, therefore, he's now on the fast track to capture a world title. Be sure to check back shortly for the full interview with Lundy to find out what the future holds for the talented Philly fighter.
