Moments ago, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko put all of his tools on display as he battered challenger Shannon Briggs from pillar to post, winning every round on each of the judges' scorecards and earning a unanimous decision. Briggs was game and took each and every one of the punches, but he simply wasn't able to figure out a way to mount anything against the superior, more talented fighter in Klitschko. Although it wasn't even close, it was suprisingly an entertaining display of Klitschko's talent against an opponent who refused to give up. Klitschko comes out early landing a right hand that backs Briggs up. Both men looking to gauge their distance. Klitschko already looks very comfortable in there. Briggs lands a jab to the body. The action resumes and Klitschko continues to land his right hand. Another right hand from Klitschko has Briggs wobbling on his feet. Another big right hand lands for Klitschko.
