FightHype.com just received word that former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, former women's super middleweight champion Laila Ali, and Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx are just a few of the many celebrities expected to attend tonight's highly-anticipated showdown between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and former champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley. Thus far, there have already been a number of celebrity sightings, including four-division world champion and Hall of Famer Roberto Duran, five-time world champion Johnny Tapia, football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin, and New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs to name a few.
The fight has proven to be a hot ticket, having been officialy sold out after nearly 16,000 tickets were snatched up in just three hours when the bout was originally announced. In fact, just yesterday, nearly 2,000 fans hoping to get a glimpse of the two fighters at the free public weigh-in were turned away after the arena reached the 6,000 seat capacity. Thus far, it's shaping up to be a blockbuster event despite the fact that many critics in the media were not pleased with the selection of Shane Mosley as Pacquiao's next opponent. The only question now is just how many pay-per-view buys will it get.
