
Nikolai Valuev will outweigh Jean-Francois by 41.4 kilogram when the two battle it out in Oldenburg, Germany tomorrow night. The former WBA heavyweight champion weighed it at 145.5 kg, while Bergeron put up 104.1 kg.
After the official weigh-in, the Russian Giant (46-1, 34 KOs) took time out to pose with one of his youngest fans. "I love children," Valuev said. "I am really missing my family, especially my two children Grisha and Irina. I have not seen them for six weeks now. I will defeat Bergeron and then fly straight back to them. I am ready to return to the ring."
