Sources close to the information have informed us that world-class trainer Virgil Hunter will likley be the new face in the corner of former wetlerweight champion Andre Berto, who recently parted ways with long-time trainer Tony Morgan after suffering the second loss of his career. Although Berto has been spotted getting some work in at a number of different gyms, we're told that recently, he's been spending the majority of his time working with Hunter.
Hunter, who is best known for his work with undefeated super middleweight king Andre Ward, has quickly increased his stable of fighters to include names like Amir Khan, Alfredo Angulo, Fernando Guerrero, and Karim Mayfield, to name a few. Though no official agreement has been announced, our sources say both Berto and Hunter have been working well together for the past few weeks and that trend will likely continue.
