Moments ago at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, lightweight Robert Guerrero thoroughly dominated Michael Katsidis, winning virtually every round on all three scorecards. Despite being outgunned in the ring and on the scorecards, Katsidis had his moments, providing a number of action-packed rounds, but in the end, the taller more technical Guerrero proved to be too much handle. Guerrero comes out firing the jab. Katsidis looks a little cautious. Guerrero still keeping that jab in the face of Katsidis. Now Katsidis gets in and digs to the body, but Guerrero fires back. Nice right hook lands for Guerrero. Straight left lands for Guerrero. Katsidis on the retreat. 1-2 from Katsidis, but he's countered by Guerrero and eats a right. NICE uppercut lands for Guerrero that got the attention of Katsidis, who retreats. Another HARD right hook lands for Guerrero. Round to Guerrero.

Guerrero backing Katsidis up behind his jab. Chopping right hand lands for Guerrero. Katsidis gets in a right to the body. Katsidis very cautious about coming in with Guerrero keeping the jab in his face. Both men trade hard shots, but it's Katsidis who lands the bigger one as Guerrero buckles and appears to have touched the canvas with his hand. The ref lets them fight on though. Nice left and a right lands for Guerrero. HARD uppercut lands for Guerrero. They trade jabs. Nice right down the middle lands for Katsidis. Better round for Katsidis, and one that he probably would have won had the knockdown counted, but round to Guerrero.

Another BIG left hand down the middle snaps the head back of Katsidis. Woooo...another one rocks Katsidis backwards. Katsidis just circling on the outside looking confused. Guerrero continues to work behind his jab. Katsidis trying to work his way into range, but he keeps eating the jab of Guerrero. 1-2 lands for Guerrero. Katsidis not letting his hands go at all. Now Katsidis lands a right, but he eats a straight left down the middle in return. HARD left hand lands for Guerrero. Katsidis lands a good right though. Nice body shot lands for Katsidis. Guerrero lands a 1-2. Now Katsidis lands 1-2, but he eats an uppercut from Guerrero. Left hand down the middle lands again for Guerrero. Round to Guerrero.

HARD left hand down the middle lands for Guerrero and Katsidis wobbles backwards and almost goes down. 1-2 lands for Guerrero. Right hook lands for Guerrero. HARD uppercut lands for Guerrero. The face of Katsidis is getting really busted up in there. Katsidis presses forward and lands a 1-2. Guerrero continues to work behind the jab. Katsidis lands some nice shots to the body. Both men begin to trade on the inside and Katsidis lands a shot low. The referee takes a point. That wakes Katsidis up and he goes wild as he attacks Guerrero. He lands another shot low and the referee takes another point. Wow. Unbelievable. That shot was unintentional. The action resumes and Katsidis really throwing caution to the wind now. Guerrero continues to bust his face open with constant jabs. Katsidis still digging to the body. Guerrero looking a little tired in there as doubles over from those body shots. HARD uppercut lands for Guerrero and Katsidis is rocked. He takes it though and fires back. Left hand lands for Guerrero. Katsidis answers with a 1-2. HARD left hand down the middle lands for Guerrero. Wow. GREAT round. Round to Guerrero.
