Earlier tonight, Julian "J-Rock" Williams (15-0-1) scored an impressive 3rd round knockout of veteran Freddy Hernandez (30-7) in Boston, Massachusetts. The very promising undefeated junior middleweight looked sharp, strong, and disciplined throughout the fight. After scoring a quick knockdown in the first round, Williams showed patience and poise while breaking Hernandez down until the final blow that kept him down in the 3rd round.
J-Rock had this to say after the fight, "They say I'm less marketable...so I gotta show my marketability in the ring, because I don't have a twin brother, I don't have a bunch of tattoos, and I don't rap." Overall, it was a solid showing for the young gunner from West Philadelphia.
