Cornelius "K9" Bundrage regained his IBF jr. middleweight title in an impressive performance, dropping former champion Carlos Molina en route to a unanimous decision victory at the Oasis Hotel Complex in Cancun, Mexico. Bundrage set the tone early, stunning Molina with a big shot early before following it up with a right hand that sent Molina to the canvas in the first round. Bundrage continued to pour it on in the next round. Although Molina tried to battle back, it was the body work and overhand right of Bundrage that was doing the damage and winning the rounds.
An uppercut in the 10th round rocked Molina again and once more, Bundrage poured it on, landing another right that would drop Molina for the second time in the fight. Clearly ahead on points, Bundrage cruised his way to the scorecards, which read 117-106, 116-109, and 115-110 all in his favor. With the win, the 41-year-old newly-crowned 154-pound champion now sets his sights on all of the big names in and around in his division, including Floyd Mayweather, Canelo Alvarez, and Miguel Cotto. Whether or not Bundrage actually gets one of those names remains to be seen, but now that he's a two-time champion, his services will no doubt draw some attention.
