Sources close to the information have informed us that there's a very strong possibility that the IBF jr. middleweight title fight between champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage and challenger Jermall Charlo could take place on the September 12 undercard of undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather's next fight. Although details have yet to be finalized, we're told that the fighters have been contacted about the possibility in order to adjust their training schedules.
Their fight was originally set to take place July 18 on the PBC on CBS card headlined by undefeated IBF super bantamweight champion Carl Frampton, who will be making his U.S. debut against challenger Alejandro Gonzalez. Bundrage, however, suffered a deep cut over his left eye during training, which forced the postponement of the bout. Be sure to check back soon for more information.
