For the first time in boxing history, two heavyweight world title fights will be streamed live on YOUTUBE as SHOWTIME Sports® offers this Saturday's SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING doubleheader on the video-sharing site beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
The online offering, part of the premium network's Free Preview Weekend, gives boxing fans everywhere LIVE access to the SHOWTIME Sports flagship series featuring Deontay Wilder, the first American heavyweight champion in nearly a decade and one of today's brightest stars.
Saturday's telecast features two heavyweight world championship fights: American champion Deontay Wilder defends his WBC title against Polish challenger Artur Szpilka and undefeated American Charles Martin and Vyacheslav Glazkov faceoff for the IBF world title.
The SHOWTIME Free Preview Weekend runs from Saturday, Jan. 16 through Monday, Jan. 18 as the network is available in more than 70 million homes nationwide. Viewers nationwide will be able to sample the network's award-winning programming on SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME On Demand®, SHOWTIME ANYTIME® and select distributors' TV Everywhere portals.
The Free Preview Weekend is available on both SD and HD feeds to digital subscribers of participating providers only.
