Earlier today at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, Terence Crawford left no doubt that he's the one and only undisputed jr. welterweight champion of the world, dropping and knocking out previously undefeated fellow champion Julius Indongo in the 3rd round to unify the WBC, WBO, IBF, and WBA titles. Crawford wasted no time in chopping down the taller Indongo, landing a left hand upstairs that sent Indongo to the canvas for the first time in round 2.
Although Indongo was able to survive for the short amount of time left in the round, it didn't take long for Crawford to finish up the job. A well-placed left hook to the body immediately dropped Indongo midway through round 3, leaving him clutching his side and rolling around in agony. The referee waved off the fight at 1:38 of the round. With the win, Crawford joined Bernard Hopkins and Jermain Taylor as only the third boxer to hold all four recognized titles in a division.
