Reynoso is a good boxer and I'm not going to underestimate him...One of my goals is to become a world champion, but more than that, I want to make history for my country like Trinidad and De La Hoya did for their country," stated undefeated up-and-coming welterweight Thomas Dulorme, who talked about his upcoming clash with Jose Reynoso. Check it out!
GP: How is training going for this fight coming up with Jose Reynoso?
TD: This training camp has been great, thanks to God.
GP: Reynoso has beaten undefeated fighters before. Will your strategy for this fight be any different because of that or will it be just like another fight for you?
TD: We train different for every fight. Reynoso is a good boxer and I'm not going to underestimate him.
GP: We have seen that in your last fights, you have been closer to the Welterweight limit. Will you stay at welterweight now or will you move back to the jr. welterweight division like in the past?
TD: For now, we just hope to stay at welterweight.
GP: I read some rumors about your team planning a future fight with Paulie Maliggnagi. Were those just rumors or is there really an intention to fight him in the future?
TD: That's my promoter's work. If I have to fight him, I will.
GP: When are we going to see you fighthing for a world title?
TD: If God guides us well, I hope in this year. We are working hard for that and I hope my promoters could gave me that.
GP: What are some of your goals in this sport?
TD: One of my goals is to become a world champion, but more than that, I want to make history for my country like Trinidad and De La Hoya did for their country.
GP: How did you begin your boxing career?
TD: Since I was a little kid, I liked boxing. I was in the boxing gym since I was 6 years old.
GP: Which boxers did you admire coming up?
TD: "Sugar" Ray Leonard is my favorite fighter of all time.
GP: Some commentators said you were French, others Dominican, and most Puerto Rican. Why do you think this happens from time to time?
TD: I was born on a French island. My parents are Dominican. I have been in Puerto Rico since I was 2 years old and I am 100% Puerto Rican.
GP: Thanks for giving us the interview. We hope to see you soon as a superstar in this hard sport.
TD: Thanks you for the opportunity and God bless you.
