Kickboxing legend Badr Hari has officially embarked on his professional boxing career as he now has two weeks under his belt working with world-class trainer Naazim Richardson. "It's my second week here and training is going well. I went to the gym and hooked up with Naazim," Hari revealed during a recent coversation. "We just have a good connection and the vibe is very good. I think we have some serious future plans ahead of us; everything is going how I expected it to be going." Those future plans include an upcoming trip to Big Bear when Richardson links up with three-division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley to start training for their upcoming clash with WBC jr. middleweight champion Saul "canelo" Alvarez. It's an opportunity that Hari is looking forward to.
"Of course I think for me, in the beginning, it's a big opportunity to see what goes on. Like I said, I'm the new kid on the block. I have my talents, but I still have to develop a lot. This is a big opportunity for me to see how things go and see how these guys are training and see how the atmosphere is and we will be going up to this place as long as I'm in the boxing game," he explained. "I think it will be one of my second homes if I like the atmosphere over there, so I'm looking forward to it and just staying busy with training and boxing 24/7. I think that is the biggest treat to me. I'm like a kid in a candy store to be around boxing this much."
