The always exciting Alessio Sakara confirms that his fight against James Lee at UFC 80 will be his last at light heavyweight as he gets set to move down to the middleweight division. Check out what he had to say.
TN: How are you doing?
AS: Very well thanks.
TN: What's new?
AS: Training hard for the next fight. It will be the last time I will fight at 205. I'm going down to 185.
TN: Where are you training out of right now?
AS: I am training and living in Miami.
TN: Is there anyone in particular you'd like to face?
AS: I would like to fight against Bisping because it would be a European Italian fight against England.
TN: How do you feel you'd match up against middleweight champion Anderson Silva?
AS: I've waited a long time for this fight to happen. It will all depend on me. I would feel very comfortable fighting against him because of his striker fighting style.
TN: Who has your toughest opponent been to date?
AS: One of the most difficult fighters I've faced was Fedor Emelianenko when I sparred him for my fight against Roman Zentzov.
TN: Is there Anything you'd like to say to your fans in closing?
AS: Thank you very much for the support that you give me and for messages that you send. Every time that I fight, I hope to do well for all of them.
