Uppercut and a right hand to the body lands for Ruiz. They trade jabs. Ruiz lands a left hook. Concepcion lands a right and dances away. Ruiz presses forward and works the body along he ropes. Uppercut lands for Ruiz. Concepcion not being active right now. Right hand lands for Concepcion. Ruiz lands a left. Right hand from Concepcion...and another. Concepcion gets a warning from the ref for pushing Ruiz. Another right hand over the top lands for Concepcion. HARD left hook lands for Concepcion. Right uppercut lands for Ruiz. There's the bell and both men still trade. Very close round, but I give it to Concepcion for again landing the more telling shots.

Ruiz buries his head in Concepcion's chest and continues to work the body. Nice left hook to the body lands for Concepcion. Ruiz outworking him on the inside right now though. Now Concepcion ties him up. Left hook upstairs lands for Ruiz. HARD uppercut lands for Concepcion. 1-2 to the body lands for Ruiz. Concepcion looks so tired in there...wooooo...but he lands a beautiful uppercut. Ruiz staggers from it. Concepcion spins him again and lands a NICE right hand followed by a left hook. Concepcion showing some nice movement in there now. Round to Concepcion.

Ruiz lands a 1-2 to the body. Both men trade jabs. Uppercut lands for Concepcion. Ruiz bulls forward with his head and Concepcion puts him in a headlock. An angry Ruiz rams him back into the post and gets a warning from the ref. The action resumes. Concepcion continues to move behind the jab and tie Ruiz up when he gets inside. Ruiz works the body along the ropes. Concepcion ties him up again. The ref takes a point for excessive holding. Left hook lands for Concepcion. Ruiz lands a left. Concepcion lands an uppercut. Right hand followed by a left lands for Concepcion. Another left hook lands for Concepcion. Round to Concepcion, but he loses a point for the holding.

Left hook from Concepcion snaps the head of Ruiz. Ruiz eats it, buries his head and presses forward. Nice uppercut lands for Concepcion. Ruiz tries to work the body. Jab lands for Concepcion. Ruiz lands a left hook. Three jabs land for Ruiz. Concepcion lands a right. Hard left hook to the body lands for Concepcion. Ruiz lands a left hook to the body now. Another left hook lands to the body for Ruiz. Concepcion lands an uppercut. Stiff jab from Concepcion snaps the head back of Ruiz. Three more jabs land for Concepcion. They trade left hooks. HARD right hand to the body lands for Ruiz. NICE right hand lands for Concepcion. WOOOOOO...another right hand from Concepcion has Ruiz wobbling at the end of the round. Round to Concepcion.

Ruiz keeps coming forward and lands a few jabs. Concepcion pushes him back. SLASHING left hook on the inside lands for Concepcion. Ruiz not quite as anxious to jump inside now. HARD right uppercut lands for Concepcion. Ruiz looks real tired right now. Right hand lands for Concepcion. Another hard uppercut lands for Concepcion. Ruiz lands a couple of jabs along the ropes. Two left hooks to the body land for Concepcion. Ruiz lands a couple of jabs and a shoulder. Concepcion lands two hard uppercuts. Leaping left hook lands for Ruiz. Round to Concepcion who's doing a good job of fighting off the ropes.

Ruiz comes out fast as he bulls forward and backs Concepcion up to the corner. Ruiz tries to work the body, but he doesn't have much on his punches. Concepcion ties him up. The ref breaks them and Ruiz bulls forward again. Some roughhousing on the inside. The ref warns Concepcion about holding again. Ruiz misses with a wild right hand and almost falls down. Concepcion lands a 1-2. Now the ref takes a point from Ruiz for roughhousing. Two chopping left hooks on the inside land for Concepcion. Now the ref takes a point from Concepcion for pushing Ruiz. Unbelievable. Both men lean on each other in center of the ring. Ruiz lands a left hook. Concepcion finishes with two nice uppercuts. Very ugly and close round. I give it to Concepcion.
