"I give him all the credit in the world...he deserves everything he's accomplished...I'm not shocked...at this stage, when you face a great fighter like Manny, it's almost expected. I worked hard and I trained hard, but like I told people in the gym, it's a whole different story...my style is to go forward and to fight and Manny Pacquiao boxed on his toes really well. He watied for me to make the mistakes so he deserves everything," he continued. EXPECT SOME STALLING AS THE FIRST TWO FIGHTS FINISHED A LOT FASTER THAN EXPECTED

They just announced that tonight, unofficially, De La Hoya weighs 147 and Pacquiao weighs 148.5. I'm not sure I believe that as in the past, they've NEVER given De La Hoya's "unofficial" weight the night of the fight. "It's not a prediction. It's something I want. Something I need," stated Oscar De La Hoya to Larry Merchant when asked why he insists that he'll get a knockout. "I'm surprised because I'm 148.5 and I'm weighing 147, so I'm surprised...I don't think he's strong enough...he's trained hard for this fight and he's in shape, so we'll see," stated Pacquiao as he spoke to Merchant. "I'm not worried about his left hand...I'm not worried at all. I'm excited and ready to fight. I'm ready for his left hand," he continued. Freddie Roach believes that perhaps the reason Oscar wasn't able to put any weight back on was because he starved himself to make weight, therefore his stomach shrunk too much. He says that perhaps that'll make Oscar weak towards the middle of the fight.
