From the boxing capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada, Crown Boxing Inc., along with Budweiser, metroPCS, The Penthouse Club and The Orleans Hotel & Casino, presents Friday Night Fights on March 6, 2009 in the Mardi Gras Ballroom. Doors open at 6PM and first bout is at 7PM. The card features an IBA Heavyweight Elimination Bout as Nicolai "The Stoneman" Firtha from Akron, Ohio travels west to Las Vegas, NV to meet Vili "The Tongan Warior" Bloomfield from Seattle, Washington. At 6'5" 245 lbs., Firtha is a heavyweight that packs a punch and has great potential while Bloomfield is a warrior who's made several trips to the U.S. Nationals, winning a bronze medal in 1998.
The card also showcases Victor Barragan (9-4) as he meets UNLV's Henry Namauu in a co-featured heavyweight battle. This match is as even as it gets. Expect fireworks!
Brian Batease (3-0-1), undefeated from Las Vegas, will meet Isaac Hidalgo from Tucson, Arizona.
Plus, a light heavyweight rematch as Demark Scott will meet Caleb Caldwell, son of former Heavyweight contender Leroy Caldwell.
Also, Carlos Fletes from Las Vegas, NV takes on Beau J. Tribolet from Phoenix, AZ and Elijah McCall (2-0, 2KO's), son of former Heavyweight Champ Oliver McCall, Will match up against Alvaro Morales of Las Vegas, NV.
