UFC lightweight Cole Miller, who's set to clash with Junie Browning at Ultimate Fight Night 18, recently contacted FightHype.com to respond to comments regarding his Jiu Jitsu made by Browning in a recent interview. "When he makes comments about my Gurgel submission being luck, it shows me how subpar his grappling is. If you go back and watch that fight, I'm clearly utilizing the spider guard and I work for that triangle the entire fight," he stated. Miller goes on to question if Junie had ever even seen him fight before. "What kind of a fool would make a statement like that? Has he even seen my fights? Most of my wins are by submission. I'm a Brown Belt American Top Team fighter. I didn't get my Purple Belt from some guy in the middle of Kentucky," he replied.
The verbal thrashing continued as Miller closed out by saying, "If he thinks my grappling is nothing spectacular, he's a fucking dumb ass!" If the fight is anything close to the war of words these two have shared, then this matchup has "Fight of the Night" written all over it! Full interview to follow shortly.
