FightHype.com recently caught up with MMA goliath Bob Sapp to discuss his June 27th fight with former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley at Prize Fight MMA's "Ultimate Chaos" in Biloxi, Mississippi. Sapp commended Lashley on his willingness to accept the challenge, stating, "It says a lot about Bobby in the sense that he wants to be recognized and he wants to show people that he has power and ability and that he can learn really fast. I'm really shocked that he chose to fight me in only his 3rd MMA fight!"
The compliments were short-lived however, as Sapp was quick to point out that this was not a wrestling match. "I will never be a better wrestler than Bobby Lashley, but this isn't a wrestling match. A lot of wrestler's get guys to the ground in a mixed martial arts fight and think that's it. But no, we gotta get up eventually and throw some blows," Sapp continued. "Once I hit him with a few shots, he's going to realize this is the real deal and you always gotta watch that overhand right!"
"One thing we know for sure, which is 99.9% true, is that somebody's getting knocked out or submitted. We pretty much know The Beast ain't going three rounds! Lashley better bring it because he knows I am," Sapp stated as he guaranteed fireworks come June 27th.
To call this a battle of big men is an understatement! "Ultimate Chaos" will feature two of the world's biggest athletes trying to dismantle each other. With nearly 600 pounds of muscle in the cage, it's hard to argue with Sapp's prediction of a knockout.
