"I don't think that I'm anything like typical ring card girls. I'm kind of a dork. I don't consider myself sexy. I don't have fake boobs. I don't like to blow kisses. I'm basically the exact opposite of a ring girl. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but not for the reasons that most people would think...UFC is actually more of a side job, if you can even call it a job. It's more like a vacation," stated Logan Stanton, the newest UFC Octagon Girl, as she talked about what it's like to work for the biggest organization in mixed martial arts. Check it out!
PC: How are you doing Logan?
LS: I'm a little sick at the moment actually. I blame it on Vegas, but besides that, I'm doing great. Thanks!
PC: Did you enjoy UFC 98?
LS: I had a blast! I always do in Vegas. My sister came with me this time and I finally got to check out the MGM Grand pool. I don't really see the point in wearing heels and make-up to the pool, but I guess that's Vegas for you!
PC: What is your favorite part of the fights? Do you like knockouts, submissions or just two people going all out?
LS: Knockouts!
PC: I've read where you said becoming a UFC ring girl just kind of happened. What was the process? Did you have to audition or compete with other girls?
LS: It literally came out of nowhere. I have never auditioned to do anything like this. I was modeling in Miami at the time and Dana had contacted my booker, I have no idea how he found me, and asked if I would come to Vegas to meet with him. When I got there, I sat down with him and Craig and they told me that they were looking for a new ring girl. And so here I am! I never saw myself doing anything like this, but I'm loving every minute of it.
PC: You say you don't look like the typical ring card girl, but you are a very beautiful girl. So why don't you feel you fit the mold of the typical ring girl?
LS: I don't think that I'm anything like typical ring card girls. I'm kind of a dork. I don't consider myself sexy. I don't have fake boobs. I don't like to blow kisses. I'm basically the exact opposite of a ring girl. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but not for the reasons that most people would think. I love talking to the fans. It's awesome to be a part of something that people have such a passion for.
PC: You guys have a pretty hectic traveling schedule. How do you find the time to stay in such great shape?
LS: Between modeling and UFC, it can be tough. Working out is really important to me, not just for the sake of my job, but I find it very therapeutic. I always make time to go to the gym. It's the first thing I do in the morning and it sets a positive attitude for the rest of the day.
PC: What does your workout regimen and diet consist of?
LS: I workout about five days a week. I do a lot of cardio and a little weight training. Cycling classes are my new favorite! I don't necessarily have a diet, but I guess I eat fairly healthy for the most part. Here's my menu for today...
Breakfast, waffles with peanut butter, banana, and honey.
After Gym, I made a blueberry smoothie with a scoop of protein powder.
Lunch, tuna sandwich with tomato soup and a salad.
Snack, yogurt with fruit and granola.
Dinner, I haven't decided, but I'm thinking tacos.
Dessert, my favorite...Yogurtland.
PC: What is your support system like? Do you have a lot of family supporting your career?
LS: My family and friends are my biggest fans. They are all very supportive of my career, although I think that they would support me regardless of what I was doing. I'm very fortunate to have people like that in my life.
PC: Since your association with the UFC, do you still have time to model?
LS: I model full-time in LA so UFC is actually more of a side job, if you can even call it a job. It's more like a vacation.
PC: What is a typical day for Logan Stanton? What are some of your hobbies?
LS: I go to the gym first thing in the morning, usually work, modeling from 9-6, sit in traffic for an hour, got to love LA, and by the time I've gotten home and had dinner, I'm usually exhausted so I relax on the couch for the rest of the evening and get ready to do it all again tomorrow. I feel like an old lady! I love my days off and usually spend them outdoors. I love kayaking, going to the beach, skating, playing tennis...pretty much everything! If I'm not outside, I'm shopping.
PC: It's tough for women to get along, but when you put three beautiful women next to each other for five or six hours, that seems to be almost impossible. How is your relationship with Edith and Arianny?
LS: (Laughing) It's not as hard as it seems. We're not best friends or anything, but we get along well. They're both very cool girls and I have fun with them.
PC: I'm sure you get hit on a lot from guys. Does it bother you or is it something you've grown used to?
LS: It doesn't really bother me. I find it kind of flattering actually, unless it's taken too far. Some guys can be obnoxious and I'll just roll my eyes.
PC: I would get trashed by our male readers if I didn't ask your relationship status, so is Logan Stanton single and if so, are you looking?
LS: I actually do have a boyfriend. One is enough for me, but I can never have too many friends.
PC: What are some of the qualities you look for in a man?
LS: Confidence, but not cocky. Well grounded. Somebody who knows who he is and is happy being himself. I like a guy who has a great sense of humor and is able to laugh at himself. A nice smile doesn't hurt either.
PC: How much has your life changed since becoming such a public figure?
LS: My everyday life hasn't changed too much actually. I'm nobody special until I'm in that little black bikini.
