"I hear Mayweather dealt with Marquez pretty easily. I was talking to my Mexican buddies man and they thought I was crazy for thinking Mayweather would defeat Marquez in that manner, but you can't bet with your heart; not when Floyd Mayweather is in the equation," stated legendary cutman Jacob "Stitch" Duran as he took time out after a busy night of wrapping hands and patching cuts at UFC 103 to share his thoughts on the other big fight card that night as Floyd Mayweather Jr. made an impressive return to boxing.
Duran, who also serves as cutman for boxers like heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, is a firm believer of the old adage that a good big man will always beat a good little man, but when it comes to Mayweather, he believes there's more to it. "You know that saying is true, but in Mayweather's case, he's just too good. I've been in the gym and watched this guy work too many times to underestimate him. He is so skilled man. It's crazy," Duran remarked.
