"Mo giving me good work, but I keep telling people, I am a lot stronger than they think and I know some shit," stated future Hall of Famer James "Lights Out" Toney when asked how his training was going with Strikeforce light heavyweight champion King Mo Lawal. What exactly is the "shit" that he knows? According to eyewitnesses, there's a strong possibility that Toney was actually able to land a standing guillotine on the former three-time U.S. Senior National Wrestling Champion. "Man...I got him in a....let him tell you. I don't want to say too much, but I will say we put in some good work," Toney added, hinting that he "got him in" some type of compromising position.
Whether or not there's any truth to the rumor remains to be seen, but when FightHype.com reached out to King Mo to get more details about their training session and the rumors about a standing guillotine, he simply replied, "I don't want to talk about it." Regardless, the fact that Toney is now training with one of the most decorated wrestlers in the sport can only help his chances when he steps inside the ring with UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture. Check back shortly for full interviews with both Toney and Strikeforce light heavyweight champion King Mo.
