As noted by CEO MC Hammer on Twitter Tuesday evening (link), Alchemist Management is happy to announce the addition of heavyweight Brendan "The Hybrid" Schaub to its fighter roster. Schaub is the first fighter signed by Alchemist Management since the company launched publicly on July 30 with a roster of 10 fighters.
"We are excited to add Brendan Schaub, an emerging heavyweight star, to our stable of pro MMA fighters," said Alchemist Management President Lex McMahon. "Our collective goal is to help Brendan achieve his long-term aspirations both in competition and outside of the cage."
Schaub competed during season 10 of "The Ultimate Fighter," where he finished as the runner-up. Since that time, Schaub has posted a 2-0 record in the Octagon and continues to improve every day as he trains in Denver, Colorado his hometown.
Schaub's next fight is scheduled for UFC 121 on October 23 in Anaheim, California. This will be Schaub's third matchup in 2010 he won each of the previous fights via first round TKO due to punches.
