"Kimbo isn't a spring chicken, so you can't move him slowly. I have been in there with some very tough guys and my experience will keep me in fights. Like I said, they can't move him too slowly, so here I am. I have a ton of fights in this game and my last win was a knockout win over Monte Barrett and he just fought to a draw against David Tua. If they don't think I have anything left, they shouldn't have any problem letting me be his boxing debut...I know I can knock Kimbo Slice out. I've knocked out guys that are a lot better than him and had more experience. My thing is, if you seriously want to get this guy in the mix right away, you can't let him fight guy's that are 1-2, 5-5 or whatever because he don't have that kind of time. He has to fight guys with experience and who are battle tested. Let's make it happen," stated heavyweight Cliff "Twin Tyson" Couser, who believes he's the perfect opponente for Kimbo Slice to make his boxing debut against. Check it out!
PC: How is it going Cliff?
CC: Everything is good. I'm looking for a fight and I hear that Kimbo Slice is looking for one as well, so I'm throwing my name is the hat.
PC: Cliff, a lot of people will look at the fact that you have dropped your last 9 fights and think that you are crazy to ask for a fight against Slice. What do you say to those people?
CC: Kimbo isn't a spring chicken, so you can't move him slowly. I have been in there with some very tough guys and my experience will keep me in fights. Like I said, they can't move him too slowly, so here I am. I have a ton of fights in this game and my last win was a knockout win over Monte Barrett and he just fought to a draw against David Tua. If they don't think I have anything left, they shouldn't have any problem letting me be his boxing debut.
PC: How do you think Kimbo will do in boxing and how would a fight between the two of you play out?
CC: He has good head movement and a nice hook. It's going to depend on if his chin and stamina hold up, which I'm sure he's working on. I would work him over. I would go to his body and head and not let him breathe. He would be a perfect opponent for me at this stage in my career. I'm only a couple of years older than he is, so bring him on.
PC: Based on what you have seen from him, do you think you can knock him out?
CC: I know I can knock Kimbo Slice out. Let's make it happen.
PC: Well, I hope things work out for you and you can get this fight. If his promoter, Gary Shaw, reads this interview, what do you want to tell him?
CC: He can hit you up and we can make it happen. I'm not hard to find. I will take that fight in a heartbeat and it will be just that...a fight! No walks in the park here, so Gary, let's make it happen.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: So what do you think? Is Kimbo Slice good enough to step into professional boxing and defeat an opponent like Cliff Couser (26-21-2, 14 KO's) or is Couser, who has lost 11 out of his last 12 fights, biting off more than he can chew? Let us know your thoughts. Better yet, let Kimbo's promoter, Gary Shaw, know your thoughts, as we're sure he'll be reading this interview. Kimbo's dream has always been to face Mike Tyson and Couser just might be as close as he gets.]
